Who is responsible
Spolvero is run by Dhiraj Chouhan from Gurugram, Haryana, India. He decides what this site collects and why, and answers every privacy question and complaint himself. Write to spolvero.design@gmail.com.
The short version
- The tools run in your browser. Photos, recordings, camera and microphone feeds stay on your device. The exceptions are listed on this page: voice follow in the teleprompter and the recorder's Script mode.
- There are no accounts, and we never ask for your name unless you write to us.
- We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to see how the site is used, and Google AdSense to show ads.
- We don't sell your data.
Visitor statistics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read, so we know what to improve. It records things like the pages you view, how you arrived, your approximate location, and your device and browser type. When you save a file from a tool, it also records which tool, the file type and how many files that browser has saved from it today — never the file name or what is in it. Google Analytics' own advertising features are turned off.
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Google Analytics does not set cookies. Google receives only basic, cookie-less signals. How Google handles this data is described atpolicies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can also block it with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
How the site is used
We also use Microsoft Clarity to understand how people use the site. Clarity records clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, and can replay a visit as a session recording, so we can find confusing parts of a page. Anything you type into a form is masked and not recorded. Advertising use is turned off, and if your device is set to a European timezone, Clarity does not set cookies. SeeMicrosoft's privacy statement.
Clarity and AdSense load only after your first scroll, tap or key press on a page.
Advertising
Some pages show ads from Google AdSense, always labelled "Advertisement" and never inside a tool. Google and its partners, as third-party vendors, use cookies to serve ads based on your earlier visits to this site and other sites. Google's advertising cookies let it and its partners choose ads based on those visits.
- Turn off personalised ads from Google at adssettings.google.com.
- Turn off other vendors' personalised ads at optout.aboutads.info or, in Europe, youronlinechoices.eu.
- How Google uses information from sites that show its ads:policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
We never see who you are or which ads you are shown; AdSense tells us only totals.
Voice follow in the teleprompter
The teleprompter, and Script mode in the voice recorder, can scroll along as you speak. Where your browser can recognise speech on your device, it does so and nothing is sent. Where it can't, we ask first, and if you agree your browser sends your speech to its own speech service — Google for Chrome, Apple for Safari — under that company's privacy terms. We never receive the audio or the words. Steady-speed scrolling, your script and your recording never leave your device.
Photos from Unsplash
Some pages and sample images use photographs from Unsplash, loaded from images.unsplash.com. Your browser asks Unsplash for them directly, so Unsplash receives your IP address, as any website does. SeeUnsplash's privacy policy.
Forms
When you use the contact form or join the launch list, what you type (and any file you attach) is sent to us by email through FormSubmit, a form-delivery service. We use it only to reply to you or to tell you about launches, and we don't sell it or share it with anyone else. To be removed from the launch list, or to have a message deleted, email spolvero.design@gmail.com.
Buying a printable pack
Printable packs are sold through Gumroad. When a buy button for a pack comes close to the screen, the page loads Gumroad's checkout script from gumroad.com, so checkout can open over the page. What you enter at checkout — your email and payment details — goes to Gumroad, which takes the payment and sends the files. We receive your email address and what you bought, so we can help if a download goes wrong; we never see your card. SeeGumroad's privacy policy and our refund policy.
Astrology pages in another language
The kundli, birth chart, horoscope and panchang are computed in your browser; your birth details and location are never sent. If you switch an astrology page to another language (Hinglish, Bengali, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil or Telugu, or Hindi on pages without a Hindi version), the page's fixed text, such as headings, explanations and buttons, is sent to our translation service on Cloudflare, which asks Google's Gemini model to translate it, and each translated line is stored there so it is not translated twice. Your results, your birth details, your place and the chat are left out: they stay in English and in your browser.
The kundli report
The full kundli report is built in your browser from the birth details you enter; they are not sent anywhere. The report is sold through Gumroad, as the packs are. When you enter its licence key, the page sends the key to our licence checker, which asks Gumroad whether it is a valid purchase and answers yes or no. The checker stores nothing. The key and the answer are remembered in your browser only, and checked again about once a month.
The Spolvero Timer browser extension
The extension collects nothing. The running timer is kept in the browser's session storage and your block list in its local storage, both on your device only. When a Pomodoro focus phase starts, the extension tells the browser to block the sites on your list until it ends; it does not read your browsing history or the pages you visit. It has no analytics, no account and makes no network requests of its own.
Sharing a template
If you send a template to the gallery, we store what you sent: its title, the words or the chart (never the photo a chart was made from), the tags and the name you asked to be credited as, if any. It is kept on Cloudflare until we review it; if approved it is shown publicly on the gallery, and if declined it is deleted. We do not store your IP address or email with it. To have a template you shared taken down, emailspolvero.design@gmail.com with its title.
Tips and affiliate links
The "Leave a tip" link opens a pay-what-you-want page on Gumroad; what you enter there goes to Gumroad, as with a pack. Guides list products under "If you need to upgrade", and after a test gives its result some tool pages show a short panel of affiliate links: software that fixes the problem, an offer in India, or hardware. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases, and the other programs pay us a commission too. Following one takes you to that company (Amazon, for example), which can then tell that you came from this site and applies its own privacy notice, such asAmazon's.
Panel links pass through spolvero.design/go/, a redirect run on Cloudflare. When a panel opens or one of its links is followed, it records the program, which test result opened the panel, the country (as Cloudflare reports it) and whether the device is a phone, tablet or computer. It does not record your IP address, browser details or anything that identifies you, and sets no cookie. From the companies we learn only totals — clicks and sales — never who bought what. If you have Spolvero Pro you can hide the panels on any tool.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Firebase Hosting, run by Google, which records visitors' IP addresses in its logs to deliver and protect the site. See Firebase's privacy information.
Stored on your device
Tools remember your settings and work in your browser's own storage, so a timer or a bingo card is still there next time. It never leaves your device, and clearing your browser's site data removes it. The full list is on thecookies page.
Where data goes, and for how long
Google, Microsoft, Gumroad, Cloudflare, FormSubmit and Unsplash may process data outside India, mostly in the United States.
- Emails and messages: kept while we need them to reply or help with an order, then deleted.
- Launch list: kept until you ask to leave, or until the launch it was for.
- Google Analytics: visit data is kept for the retention period set in our account, at most 14 months.
- Clarity: session recordings are deleted after about 30 days.
- Astrology translations: each translated line of page text is kept with no set end date, so it can be reused.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can also withdraw consent you gave, raise a grievance with us, and name someone to act for you if you can't. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you can also object to processing and complain to your data protection authority.
Email spolvero.design@gmail.com from the address you used with us. We reply within 30 days. For data held by Google, Microsoft or Gumroad, their own tools are usually faster, and we will point you to them.
Children
Classroom timers and games are used in schools, but they collect nothing from the pupils using them. The forms and checkout are for adults. If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian before you write to us or buy anything. If we learn we hold a child's details without that consent, we delete them.
Changes
When this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. If a change affects data we already hold, we will say so here before it takes effect.

Each app handles your data differently. Read its own policy:
