Jyotish: Kundli & AI Astrology
Vedic astrology app for Android
Your kundli, read in your own language.
A Vedic astrology app: your kundli calculated on your phone, a daily reading from your own chart, Kundli Milan, panchang, and questions answered in eight Indian languages.
What Jyotish does
A Vedic astrology app: your kundli calculated on your phone, a daily reading from your own chart, Kundli Milan, panchang, and questions answered in eight Indian languages.
Your kundli, calculated properly
Planetary positions are computed on your phone with standard astronomical methods and the Lahiri ayanamsa, and tested against real equinoxes and solstices to within 0.05°. Tap any placement to see its degree, sign, house and nakshatra.
Vedic, Lal Kitab and Ank Jyotish
Read your chart the Parashari way with Vimshottari dashas and transits, as a Lal Kitab chart, or by your numbers: mulank, bhagyank and namank.
Ask in your own language
English, Hindi, Hinglish, Punjabi, Bengali, Tamil, Marathi or Telugu. Type a question about career, love, marriage or family, and like a real astrologer it may ask you something back before it answers.
It says what it won't answer
Health, legal and investment questions are refused, not guessed. It will not predict a baby's sex, does not prescribe gemstones, and does not read elections, markets or cricket.
A closer look
What happens to your details, said plainly
Jyotish needs an account, and answers are written by an AI from the chart your phone calculated. We would rather say so than hide it.
- Your chart is calculated on your phone
- Birth details are kept in your account so they come back on a new phone
- Questions go with your chart to Google's Gemini, which writes the answer
- Your email address is never sent to the AI
- Ten questions a day, the chart, panchang and tarot are free; there is no subscription
When people reach for Jyotish
Families matching a rishta
Two birth details and a question from the elders: how many gunas match? Kundli Milan gives the 36-point Ashtakoota score, koota by koota, with Manglik checked for both.
Someone curious about their own chart
You know your sun sign but not your rashi, nakshatra or lagna. Enter your birth details once and tap any placement to see where it comes from.
People who think in Hindi or Tamil
Ask about a job change or a marriage in the language you actually speak, and get the answer in it, not in stiff English.
Anyone keeping vrats and dates
Today's tithi, nakshatra, yoga and karana, a calendar, vrat reminders and a japa counter in the same app as your chart.
A parent saving the family's charts
Keep up to eight people: yourself, your partner and the family. Ask about any of them by name.
How this differs from most astrology apps
| Most apps | Jyotish |
|---|---|
| Pushes you to a paid astrologer on a per-minute call | Ten questions a day free, a short video for ten more, Prasad credits after that. No calls and no per-minute billing |
| Answers every question, including health and money | Refuses health, legal and investment questions, and says so |
| Sells gemstones and pujas with the reading | Does not prescribe gemstones and has nothing to sell you |
| A horoscope written for your sun sign | A daily reading from your own chart and today's transits |
| English only, or Hindi as an afterthought | Eight languages for the app and every answer |
| Hides that the answers are written by an AI | Says plainly which part is calculated and which part the AI writes |

Questions
Can't find the answer you're looking for?
Is the reading written by an AI?
The chart is not: planetary positions, houses, nakshatras and dashas are calculated on your phone by astronomical methods. The answers to your questions are written by Google's Gemini from that calculated chart, and the app says so.
Which ayanamsa and house system does it use?
The Lahiri ayanamsa, the standard in Indian astrology, and whole-sign houses. Every placement is sidereal, so your rashi can differ from the Western sun sign you know.
What won't it answer?
Health, legal and investment questions are refused rather than guessed. It will not predict a baby's sex, which Indian law forbids, does not prescribe gemstones, and does not read elections, markets or sport.
Is it free?
Your kundli, the daily reading, panchang, the calendar, vrat reminders, japa and tarot are free, and so are ten questions a day. Watch a short video for ten more, up to fifty a day. Kundli Milan reports, palm readings and questions beyond that use Prasad, the app's credits: a few when you join, more for watching a video, or packs bought through Google Play. Prasad never expires, and there is no subscription.
Does it show ads?
Only short rewarded videos, and only when you tap to watch one: for ten more questions, to open a later timing window, to earn Prasad, or in Ask, where every second answer waits behind a 'Watch a short ad to see it' button. If no video can load, the answer opens anyway. There are no banners and no full-screen ads between screens.
Do I need an account?
Yes. Sign in with Google or an email and password. The account keeps your birth details and saved people, so they come back on a new phone.
What does the AI see?
Your question, recent conversation, your age, gender and calculated chart, and for someone you saved, their name and birth details. Never your email address. The privacy policy lists exactly what goes and where.
Can I delete my data?
Delete everything in Me → Privacy & data clears the phone. To delete your account and everything stored in it, email us from the address you signed in with, and we will do it within 30 days.
For guidance and reflection, not a promise of any outcome. Charts are calculated on your phone; answers to questions are written by an AI from them. Not medical, legal or financial advice.
