Your photos say more than you think
Every photo file carries hidden notes — where it was taken, when, and on what. These tools read and rewrite them in your own browser, so the photos themselves never go anywhere.

Fix a wrong camera clock for a whole trip.

What these photo tools do
The data hidden inside a photo
Every photo a phone or camera takes carries a block of EXIF data alongside the picture: the date and time it was taken, the camera or phone model, the lens and exposure settings, often the camera's serial number, and, when the camera has location turned on, the GPS position where it was taken. You do not see any of it when you look at the photo, but anyone you send the original file to can read it.
The Photo Metadata Remover shows you exactly what each photo carries, then removes all of it or only the location. It rewrites the file's data block without re-encoding the picture, so no quality is lost.
Fixing a wrong camera clock
A camera left on home time after a flight, or never set after a battery change, stamps every photo with the wrong time. Gallery apps then sort the trip out of order and mix two cameras' photos up. Change Photo Date moves the date taken on a whole batch of JPEG photos by the same number of days, hours and minutes, so they line up again everywhere they are sorted.
Nothing leaves your device
Both tools run in your browser. The photos are read and rewritten on your own phone or computer and are never uploaded, so they work on private photos and keep working with the network switched off once the page has loaded.

Which photo formats work?
The metadata remover reads JPEG, PNG and WebP. Changing the date works on JPEG. HEIC photos from an iPhone are not supported yet, and the page says so for each one.
Does removing metadata lower the quality?
No. The tool rewrites the file's data block without re-encoding the picture, so the image itself is untouched.
Can I remove only the location?
Yes. You can remove everything or keep the rest and remove only the GPS location.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Both tools read and rewrite the photos on your own device, and they keep working with the network off once the page has loaded.
