Real products, real numbers

What the designer behind Spolvero has shipped, and what it did. Employer work is credited to the employer; the last row is ours.

    Maruti Suzuki Super App

    Design owner and team lead

One app for buying, servicing, loyalty and everything after the sale, on iOS and Android, for India's largest car maker. Dhiraj owns the design and leads six designers across the four verticals. Twenty-seven homepage variants were tested before the one that shipped.

    Dinero

    Design lead, 0 → 1

An internal fintech platform designed from nothing to the product the team runs on. Payment and lead-handling flows that used to take a working day were rebuilt around what the operators actually did with them.

How we work

Research first, systems always, and measure everything

  1. Research before pixels

Interviews, usage data and the flows people actually take, before any screen is drawn. Dinero's biggest wins came from watching operators work, not from a brief.

  2. Systems, not screens

A component library and rules your developers build from, so the fiftieth screen matches the first and nothing has to be redrawn.

  3. Ship, measure, revise

Twenty-seven homepage variants on the Super App were not a plan; they were what it took. Designs get tested against real numbers and changed.

From first call to launch

Three steps. No fourth.

  1. 01

    Discover

A call about your product, users and goals. You get a written scope and quote before any work starts.

  2. 02

    Design

Flows, screens and a clickable prototype, reviewed with you as we go, plus a design system to keep it consistent.

  3. 03

    Hand off and launch

Developer-ready Figma files and assets, plus store screenshots and listing copy if you need them.

Who you work with

Dhiraj Chouhan, UX Designer at Maruti Suzuki

By day I own the design of the Maruti Suzuki Super App — one app for buying, servicing and owning a car, on iOS and Android, with more than five million downloads — and lead the six designers who work on it.

Spolvero is what I make with the rest of my time: small Android apps that ask for as little as possible, free browser tools that upload nothing, and design work for founders who want the same care put into their product.

Questions from clients

Cost, time, ownership and what arrives at the end.

How much does a project cost?

Most projects fit one of four fixed-scope packages, from $1,400 for a landing page and brand basics to $5,250 for a full app UI pack. Anything else is billed at $35–45 an hour. Either way you get a written quote before anything starts, so there are no surprises.

How long does a project take?

It depends on the size of the product. We agree a timeline in the quote and keep you updated as we go.

What do I get at the end?

Figma files with every screen and state, a clickable prototype, a component library or design system, and exported assets ready for your developers.

Who owns the designs?

You do. Once the project is paid, the final designs are yours to use however you like.

Will you sign an NDA?

Yes. Send it over with your first message and we'll sign it before you share any details.

Can I hire you through Upwork?

Yes. Dhiraj takes studio work on Upwork too, so you can pay through Upwork's escrow and contract if you prefer. The scope, the quote and the files you get are the same either way.

Do you work with clients outside India?

Yes. We work with founders and teams anywhere in the world, over email and video calls.

Can you also design my website or brand?

Yes. Along with app design we do landing pages, product websites, and naming, logo, colour and type.

Have a product that needs designing?

Send a few lines about it. You get a reply and a written quote, and nothing is billed before you say yes.
