Enough (design.spolvero.enough) is a water tracker for Android. This policy
describes what the app does with your information. It is short because the app
does very little: there is no account, no server of ours, and your hydration
record stays on your phone.
Who we are
Enough is published by Spolvero.Design, a solo developer. You can reach us at spolvero.design@gmail.com.
The short version
- We do not ask you to create an account, and we never ask for your name or email address.
- What you drink, your body details, and your target are stored on your device. We cannot see them. They are not uploaded to us or to anyone else.
- We do not sell your data. We do not share it. There is nobody to share it with.
- Two features reach the internet, both optional, and neither one sends anything about your health or your hydration. They are described below.
What the app stores on your device
All of this is held in the app’s own private storage, which other apps cannot read:
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Your drinks — amount, drink type, and the time each was logged | The record the app exists to keep |
| Your body details — sex, weight, and which standard you chose | To calculate your daily target |
| Your daily target, and your own figure if you set one | So the number is yours |
| Your reminder hours, and whether reminders are on | To schedule reminders |
| Whether you have the paid tier, and whether the weather forecast is on | So a purchase survives a restart |
| Readings retrieved from Health Connect, if you connect it | To adjust today’s number |
We have no copy of any of it. It lives on your phone until you delete it.
Health Connect
If you choose to connect Health Connect, Enough asks for permission to read these, and for no others:
| Permission | What it is used for |
|---|---|
| Exercise | A long session means more water |
| Active calories burned | A hard day, even without a recorded workout |
| Steps | The one thing nearly every phone and watch records |
| Body temperature | Fever raises the number |
| Weight | Places you in the standard’s range |
| Sleep | Short nights shift when reminders land |
| Hydration (write) | So what you log here is visible to your other apps |
Enough does not read hydration data from Health Connect; it only writes what you log here.
Everything read from Health Connect is processed on your device and is used only to calculate and explain today’s target. None of it is transmitted to us or to any third party. It is never used for advertising — the app is built so that the advertising code cannot access a hydration or health value at all.
You can withdraw these permissions at any time in Health Connect’s own settings, or in Android Settings → Security & privacy → Health Connect. The app continues to work without them.
Hydration records the app has already written to Health Connect belong to Health Connect after that, and are governed by its settings and by Google’s privacy policy. Deleting Enough does not delete them; remove them in Health Connect if you want them gone.
Location, and the weather forecast
The local-forecast feature is off unless you turn it on. When it is on:
- The app asks for approximate location only (
ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION). It never requests precise location. - Your coordinates are rounded to roughly 11 kilometres before they leave the device — a neighbourhood, not an address.
- The rounded coordinates are sent to Open-Meteo (
api.open-meteo.com) to retrieve a temperature forecast. Open-Meteo’s privacy policy is at https://open-meteo.com/en/terms. Weather data by Open-Meteo.com. - Nothing else is sent with the request. No identifier, no account, and nothing about what you drank.
- Your location is not stored by the app and is never attached to any drink you logged.
Turn the forecast off and no location request is made and no request is sent.
Advertising
The current version of Enough contains no advertising SDK. The spaces reserved for advertisements in the app are inactive placeholders that do not load anything, make no network request, and collect no data.
If advertising is added in a future version, this policy will be updated before that version is released, the store listing will be marked as containing ads, and — where the law requires it — you will be asked for consent first.
Analytics and crash reporting
There are none. The app contains no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, and no attribution or tracking library of any kind. We receive no usage data about you, including whether you opened the app at all.
Payments
If you buy the paid tier, the purchase is handled by Google Play Billing. We never see your card or payment details; Google tells the app only whether an entitlement is active. Google’s handling of that transaction is covered by the Google Play Terms of Service and Google’s privacy policy.
Deleting your data
Because nothing is held on a server, deleting your data does not require contacting us:
- All of it — uninstall Enough. Android deletes the app’s private storage with it, and your record is gone permanently.
- Individual drinks — delete them in the app, on the day they belong to.
- Health Connect permissions — withdraw them in Health Connect.
- Hydration already written to Health Connect — delete it in Health Connect; uninstalling Enough will not remove it.
There is no account to close because there is no account.
Children
Enough is not directed at children and is not distributed under Google Play’s Families programme. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone — of any age — because we do not collect information at all.
Your rights
Privacy laws including the GDPR (EU/UK), and state privacy laws in the United States, give you rights to access, correct, export, and delete personal data held about you, and to object to its sale.
In practice we hold none of your personal data, so there is nothing for us to retrieve, correct, or erase, and nothing for us to sell — we do not sell personal information, and we have never done so. Your data is in your hands on your own device, and the deletion steps above put it entirely under your control. If you believe we hold something about you regardless, write to spolvero.design@gmail.com and we will answer within 30 days.
Not a medical device
Enough is not a medical device, and nothing in it is medical advice. The intake standards it cites — EFSA (2010), the US Institute of Medicine (2004/5), and ICMR-NIN (2020) — are population guidelines, not prescriptions for an individual. If you have a kidney, heart or liver condition, or you are pregnant, follow the figure your clinician gives you rather than this app’s.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and the updated policy is published at this address before the version it describes is released. Material changes — in particular, ever beginning to collect or transmit data that stays on the device today — will be brought to your attention in the app.
