Lull: Baby Feeding & Sleep Log · Effective 25 September 2026

Lull is a baby feeding, sleep and diaper log. Everything you log stays on your phone. Lull has no account and no internet permission, so it cannot send your data to us or to anyone else. No ads, no analytics, no tracking. You can export or delete everything at any time.

Not a medical device

Lull is a record-keeping app. It does not diagnose, monitor vital signs, or give medical advice. Guidance shown in the app is general, cited (AAP, CDC, WHO, NHS, IAP) and labelled as a guide. Always ask your doctor or health visitor about your baby’s health.

What Lull stores, and where

Everything below is stored only on your phone, in storage only Lull can read.

Data Why
Your baby’s name and birth date; due date and sex if you add them To show age, and to pick the right WHO growth chart. Sex is optional
Your logs: feeds, pumping, solids, sleep, diapers, medicine, temperature, symptoms, illness, doctor visits, vaccines, growth, teeth, milestones, notes, memories and your own activities Your baby’s record, shown back to you
Photos you choose to add to an entry Copied into Lull’s private storage so the entry keeps its photo
Your first name, if you enter it For the morning handover card
Settings: units, night hours, reminders, home tiles To make the app work

Some of this is health information about your child. You enter it, it stays on your device, and we never receive it.

What Lull does not do

  • No account, sign-in, email or phone number.
  • No internet access. Lull does not request Android’s INTERNET permission.
  • No analytics, crash reporting or tracking SDKs.
  • No advertising and no advertising ID. The AD_ID permission is removed.
  • No location, contacts or microphone.

Permissions

Permission Why
Notifications Feed, pump, medicine and vaccine reminders you turn on, scheduled on your phone
Run at start-up So your reminders survive a phone restart
Vibration Quiet feedback for reminders

Photos need no permission: when you tap “Add a photo”, Lull opens Android’s own camera or photo picker, and you choose the photo. Lull never reads your gallery.

When data leaves your phone

Only when you choose:

  • Export CSV and Share this week open Android’s share sheet. The file goes to the app or person you pick. We never receive it.
  • Android device backup. If backup is on in your phone’s settings, Android may include Lull’s data in your own Google backup, handled by Google under your account. We have no access to it. You can turn it off in Android Settings → Google → Backup.

Children

Lull is made for parents and carers, not for children to use. Information about a baby is entered by the parent and stays on the parent’s phone. We do not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Keeping and deleting your data

Your data stays until you delete it.

  • Delete everything: open Lull → You → Your data → Delete everything, and confirm. Every entry, baby, photo and setting is erased.
  • Delete one entry: open it and tap Delete.
  • Uninstall: removes all of Lull’s data from your phone.
  • Keep a copy first: You → Your data → Export CSV.

Because we hold no copy, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.

Your rights

Under laws such as the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA and India’s DPDP Act you can access, correct, export and delete your data. With Lull you do this directly on your phone: every entry can be edited, Export CSV gives you everything, and Delete everything erases it.

Changes

If a future version adds anything that sends data off your phone — for example, optional sync with a partner — we will update this policy before that version is released, and the feature will stay off until you choose it.
