Booster: Pet Vaccine Tracker · Effective 28 September 2026

Booster is a pet health record: vaccines, deworming, tick treatments, vet visits, weight and documents for your dogs, cats and other pets, with reminders. This policy says what Booster collects, where it goes, why, and how to delete it. It is written in plain language on purpose.

Not a veterinary service

Booster is a record and a schedule. Every date it shows is suggested by a published vaccination protocol (for example WSAVA, AAHA, or common practice in India) and marked as such. It does not diagnose, assess symptoms or give veterinary advice. Always confirm with your vet.

Your account

Booster asks you to sign in, so your pets’ records are kept in your own account and come back on any phone you sign in on.

  • Email and password, or Sign in with Google. We receive your email address, and with Google also your name and profile photo address. Sign-in is handled by Google Firebase Authentication.
  • We use your email only to sign you in and to send a password reset when you ask for one. We do not send marketing email.

What Booster stores, and where

Everything you enter about your pets:

  • pet details: name, species, breed, birth date, sex, neutered, microchip number, country and city, your vet’s name, phone and clinic;
  • records: vaccinations with brand and batch, parasite treatments, vet visits, weights, medications, documents, notes, and the dates your vet gave you;
  • photos you choose to attach: of your pet, a vaccination card, a certificate or a vial sticker;
  • licence details you add (for example an MCD or MCG dog licence number).

This record is stored in two places:

  1. On your phone, so the app works offline.
  2. In your private area of Google Cloud Firestore (Firebase), in the Mumbai region (asia-south1), linked to your account. Security rules allow only your signed-in account to read or write it. Photos are stored there as reduced-size copies.

We do not sell your data, share it with anyone for their own use, or look at it, except when you ask us for help and give us permission.

Reminder schedules, quiet hours, language and similar settings stay on your phone and are not uploaded.

What Booster does not collect

  • No location. The country and city are what you type in.
  • No contacts, no call logs, no microphone.
  • No analytics or usage tracking.
  • No access to your gallery beyond the photos you pick.

Advertising

The free version shows ads from Google AdMob: a banner at the bottom of some screens, an occasional full-screen ad after several exports, and ads you choose to watch in exchange for an unlock.

  • AdMob may use your device’s advertising ID and collect information such as your IP address and device type to show and measure ads.
  • If you are in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, you are asked for consent first, using Google’s consent tool. You can change your choice in the app.
  • Ads never receive your pets’ records. Nothing you log is passed to an ad request.
  • You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone’s settings. Booster Pro removes all ads.

Purchases

Booster Pro is bought through Google Play. We use RevenueCat to check whether your purchase is active. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and your purchase details from Google Play. We never see your card or payment details.

Notifications

Reminders are scheduled on your phone. They are not sent from a server, and their content never leaves the device.

Sharing and exports

Booster only sends a PDF, CSV, backup file or pet card when you tap share or export, and only to the app you choose (for example WhatsApp or Drive). The QR code on the pet card holds a short text summary of the record; anyone who scans it can read that summary.

Keeping and deleting your data

  • Your record is kept until you delete it or your account.
  • Hide an entry: open it in Record and choose “Hide from record”. Hidden entries stay in your account so a mistake can be undone.
  • Sign out: removes the record from that phone. It stays in your account.

Delete your account

In the app: You → Account → Delete account. This permanently deletes your account and every pet record and photo stored in it, in one step, and removes the copy on the phone. It cannot be undone. For safety Firebase asks you to have signed in recently; if it asks, sign out, sign in again and repeat.

If you cannot open the app, email spolvero.design@gmail.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We will do so within 30 days and confirm by reply.

Children

Booster is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Security

Data travels encrypted (HTTPS). Firestore data is encrypted at rest by Google. Access is limited to your signed-in account by security rules.

Changes

If this policy changes, we update the date at the top and describe the change in the app’s release notes. A change that sends new kinds of data anywhere will be announced before it happens.
